Years ago, FREEEK started doing a style of slide that mimicked a heady bubbler, only 1:5 scale. On a tube, they look amazing! This stand up bubbler stands up at 7" tall from the bottom of the base, to the tip of the mouth piece, while the can itself comes in at 5" tall, from push to base. Keeping in line with quality construction and functional features, Chris tapered the mouth pieces, flared the bottom of the can super wide, and added an angled, reinforced snorkle carb on the users right hand side. With stats like that, it would seem this piece was more go than show. Not a chance. Chris kept it more than real with his signature Black & White color way, and even used one of his favorite techs on the front can; a clean B&W basket weave section, with a reversal middle. Infact, each major piece on this bub got its on reversal section. The snorkle carb has a beautifully placed spiral reversal on the front AND back, aswell as the back of the can, and even the mouth piece. Looking directly from the back, you might just find yourself getting veeeeryyyy sleeeeeppppy. Maybe not, but you will be wiping your eyes to see if what you saw was just real. As if he could take it any further, he added 2 milli marbles to the users left hand side of the can. The bottom is a sig millie "CAC 09", while the top one is a B&W millie that has a white outer ring, that has alternating white and black line in the middle. Basket weaves is just one of the hundreds he has, but is without a doubt one of the coolest. He takes flat chips of glass and actually shapes them into the slide. Hard to believe when you see it in person, but its true. The bottom of the slide has a thick black border, that turns into alternating basket weaves of purple and peacock chips. The push has a great size, but the coolest part of this slide is by far the flat cane ribbon on the side acting as a handle. Folded into the shape of an "S", its reinforced to the slide of the slide to add just a little but more style, and a lot of functionality. All Peacock body, with White reversal sections on the can, and the mouthpiece. The front of the can is laced in hand pulled Brock millies, and a nice clean Dichro print marble on the front. The mouth piece itself is pointed at an up-ward angle which actually gives you a LOT better view over the push. The mouthpiece is then connected to a "C" shaped link that acts as a nice splash guard, so no water baloons in the mouth! The bottom of the can has 2 peacock "Tree's" coming out either side, and rising up around the back, en casing the whole piece beautifully. The downstem is over sized 12mm, and non diffused for that old school chug.To top it off, he spiraled white lines in the push, and signed it "Brock 2008" with a Ti pen on the bottom of the can.
