So the new Bradford batch is in, and damn did he hook us the hell up. Often times, especially being in Colorado, you hear the term “Colorado Style” pipe. Back in the day, Colorado was known well for having thick, Color changing pipes that would go for years and years. From time to time, things happen outside the world of glass that prompt us to get involved…What are we talking about?

Kanye West doesnt give A SHIT! Just look at the shirt he was wearing. The dude doesn’t care one bit!
Most think its weird, but we here at Heady Glass Gallery commend Mr. West. No, not because he had one of the best Nike models to come out in years

or because he made bald chicks hot… again? Ok sinead o connor wasnt that hot. He made bald chicks hot, for the first time.

Doesnt seem that sunny to us…. oh well.  The REAL reason we have grown to like Mr. West is the fact he doesnt mind standing up for his beliefs… literally, even if its at the expense of a Nickelodeon teeny bopping singer. He doesnt care though, as she isnt bald anyways.

It stays that way until the best video. You realize quite swiftly (pretty neat, huh?) though, that Beyonce DID NOT Win.

So after a long wait, its finally here. Whats here? Well, today were dropping not 1, not even 2…. but 3 new boxes of glass goodies. Whats even better is the boxes are from some of the best doing it…

We have been reppin Adam G for a long time here @ HG. We dont rep just anyone here, and if you have heard us talk about Adams work, you know how highly we talk about it. But even with all the past, and even recent pieces of Adam’s that have come through Heady Glass Gallery, none encompass all of the techniques, color selections, and shapes that have made Adam G one of the best in the game.

Even at a quick first glance, anyone can tell this piece is something special. When checking out his GlassPipes.Org page for THIS SET it became even more evident just how amazing this set really was. With top artist after top artist coming to give props to this set, we felt lucky to be laying eyes on in, even if it was just through a computer screen…

Well seeing as Adam was a Colorado local, we were lucky enough to run into him at an event. After talking for a second he says “Hey I got this set I wanna show ya” So we wait as he goes to grab this gun case. He comes back and lets us open it ourselves. Inside?

Needless to say, we jumped at the opportunity to have this beautiful, LOCAL, set on Display!

While we have had a lot of great dry pieces on display throughout our history, very few parallel the sheer craftsmanship of this set. Why? Well for one, the line work is without a DOUBT the tighest we have ever seen in person. Dont take our word for it though, check it out…

Dang! Thats tighter than… well, with our history of raw comparisons, were gonna just leave this alone. Trust us, its tight!

Another thing that makes this piece stand out above the rest is the attention to detail. Not only on the piece itself, but the attachments going on to it. This Adam G set has more facets on it than…. well… it has a lot of facets. Not just any facets though…

See that grape nut lookin thing in there? thats a piece of gold. Not only is this piece sick, but It has more bling than… well… God damn we need to stop doing that!!!

There are 3 big facets through out this whole set, including one on the lid to the matching jar!

But no matter how sick we think this set is, blabbin away isnt gonna help. So well shut up and get to posting pictures…

Believe it or not…. even MORE Kennaroo! With most artists, youd be repeating stuff with this big of an order. With Kennaroo though, were just getting to the good stuff! After that NASTY Window Glass on Glass bubbler he did last week, he kept the after burners going, and went for round TWO! This time he kicked us a DIFFUSED Stand-Up bubbler, His FIRST Inline bubbler, or inline anything for that matter, and 2 BEAUTIFUL Fade-To-Clear slides with Reversal balls on them. Kennaroo used to put those little R-Balls on the slides back on the day, so were stoked to see the throwback style.

Bub looks pretty sick already huh? Well a couple of posts ago, we mentioned a new style marble that was gonna start showing up on Roos work. Remember??

The Millie Eater window marbles have finally landed! This is the FIRST one he ever made gracing the bottom of this diffused Stand-up. At 9″ Tall, this piece is one of the biggest Roo has ever made, so why not deck it out with a nice Marble. But in another first, Kennaroo finally jumped on the inline bandwagon, and made his FIRST!

Aside from the matching Rootini this bubbler comes with, Kennaroo added a couple extra special attachments on this one…

Itza’s pieces are pretty sick!. While most tubes are now just coming with stock clear slides, Itza is steppin it up and adding a worked, Ice Pinch slide STOCK with tubes & bubblers.

Even aside from the worked slide though, we were still pretty stoked to see such high quality on all their pieces. Clean welds, clear Diamond cuts, and even better semetry. Its pretty easy to tell when a blower is a head himself. This certainly was no exception!

So what did we get from Itza? Well to start, a Bunch of 8-Arm Ashcatchers W/ 90 degree arms for all you stemless freaks.

Thick joints, reinforced joint arm, and one HELL of a thick base.

But like we said… Itza’s prices are quite possibly the best part of this whole thing. This AC? Only $169.99!

But a good ashcatcher isnt anything without a tube…. or is it? We have all seen conversion arms in the past, but now, we are stoked to have stemless bubbler arms!

Whats even cooler is they work as a straight stemless bubbler with no ac, or a straight conversion arm with no water. Ahhh Macgyver….

But in all reality, a good AC really wants to be on a good tube. Well, Itza has that covered too…

So things are rollin along on the new shop & studio…

But even as were dedicating a LOT of our resources to the NEW Heady Glass Gallery, were still keepin all you online glass heads on lockdown. For a while now, we have been toting the arrival of the new Tube line, Itza Glass. Well, their finally here and ready to go online TOMORROW!!!

If you remember, were going to be kicking off this new Tube line with a sale. Not too many places do sales right off the bat. Oh well! So recently the stage has been dominated by one artist; Kennaroo! Sure the dude can do some AMAZING slides, but we rarely ever see from him is Hand pieces. Not to say he hasnt done them, cause he has dabbled in the hand pipe scene in years past, and even more recently with these…

It’a off to work we go. Well, actually…. we never left! We have to say, we have a LOT more respect for all those amazing glass blowers out there. Not just because of their awesome skills, but for the simple fact the went through the pure hassle of setting up a shop. Gotta do it right, though!

So pardon us for not posting all that much recently. We promise its for good reason! But aside from the new Heady Factory, we have been getting some pretty sick pieces in for all you online heads…

If you remember, a week or 2 ago we dropped word that the world famous MIKE FRO, would once again be coming over to the HG camp. Well, its finally happened, and we literally cant believe our eyes…

Anyone who knows glass, knows Fro’s work is more than nice. Were BIG on unique, thought out, color ways so this was candy to our eyes.

These Mike Fro diffusers are easily one of our most favorite new products. Even aside from super tight line work & beautiful color ways, the functionality was more than on par. We received a HUGE array of 18, & 18 to 14 reducing diffusers. Even cooler is that Fro took the time to hand make the reductions with a more German influence, rather than using a traditional bushing reduction joint.

For diffusion, Fro opted to use Precise, Medium sized holes, and lots of them. Each diffuser rocks 8-10 of these holes to allow any tube to clear super quick, and with AWESOME diffusion!

But, thats still not all…

Each worked Mike Fro Diffuser comes with a matching Martini, or Frotinis as their commonly referred to as.

Even for our third case in a row, Roo kicked up the heat and brought his A game! Sure, anyone can do a martini, but this guy has them down to a freaking science!!! One thing we love about working with Kennaroo is his attention to not only the pieces details, but the end clients details. What the hell does that mean? It means even though he sent us 25+ Martini’s, he still didnt repeat ANY. In fact, each are pretty distinct!

So since we have been so wrapped up in this new project, we decided to do a pretty big sale for ya guys.

So what happened to that super Kennaroo Piece? Its almost here!! After 2 attempts, Roo finally finished the job on the lucky third try. We Do have some pictures, but wed much rather wait till we get our hands on it. Speaking of spy shots, we dont have any of the new Itza glass case, but we really dont need to. The boxes should be showing up ANY day now, and you know well have full coverage with pictures and videos up soon there after. From what we have heard though, this is gonna be one hell of a box to kick off the Itza X Heady Glass relationship…

If you guys are like us, your probably pretty stoked to see these drop. Itza has been creating some pretty big waves in the industry recently with the big technical style, and awesome price points. No $900 fixed stems here…They would much rather you pay for performance than a label or a non functional collab. However, if you do love those BIG baller pieces, they still have you taken care of. Fixed stem, double chamber, 16-arm Fire & Ice bubbler anyone? Maybe if we dont take it first!
